Early into our marriage, we had a dream to own a piece of property we could use to practice hospitality and encourage others.  Over the last 10 years, the Lord provided more clarity to our dream through our involvement as a couple in local and international missions and serving on the global missions’ team at church.  He instilled in us love, care and concern for missionaries.  He opened our eyes to the needs that our missionaries encounter as they serve, particularly when they return to the United States after serving abroad.

We have been amazed to see God work and felt called to establish Missional Living, Inc. as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in 2016.   Along our journey, God has also uniquely knit us together with people and resources to enable us to care for missionaries.  In early 2017, we partnered with a well-established ministry, Righteous Rides, to facilitate the transportation piece of Missional Living. It has been a joy to see how God has led people in the community to partner with us to provide various resources for the housing piece of our ministry. We are excited to partner with others who share a passion for “serving the servants”.

Our heart is to provide missionaries with the care they need, both on and off the mission field. Their time on furlough/home assignment should be filled with quality time with their friends, family, and supporting churches. Our hope is for them to rest, be encouraged and return to the mission field truly refreshed so they may thrive in their ministry.

We look forward to serving with you,

Larry and Mitzi Bodie
