In 1 Samuel 25, we learn of a story of a wealthy man named Nabal. David and his men have extended kindness and protected Nabal’s flock of sheep. In return for this kindness, David’s men ask Nabal for food and supplies. But Nabal refuses this request and responds with harsh words and greed.
